A powerful built, strong but not a blunt dog, who is muscular and dry without creases, so that the lips do not fall over the under jaw. The head is big and impressive. Its girth is the same as the shoulder height. The forehead has a clear wrinkle. The fore snout is short, the nose level wide and the shearing set of teeth powerful. Nose level, ears and fore snout should always be dark, the eyes are darkly rimmed.

The short fur lies flat against the body. Every patterning of streams, yellow or red is allowed. The colors should be nice and clear. They should only have a small white spot on the chest. Neither the ears nor the tail are cut. Shoulder height between 63 and 69 cm. Weighs up to 60 kg.
